OGB Recent was born on 2 September 1997 in Delta State, where his parents raised him. He completed his primary and secondary schools in his home state before relocating to Lagos State, where he achieved fame.
He had originally wanted to become a cinematographer before acting began to get his attention, and he started creating skits. While attending university to study computer science, he developed his talent as a comedian and made a career out of it by creating content online.
